Often I ask people why they haven’t done business with us yet.  Here are a few of their questions, along with the answers from me, “CartMan”.

CartMan travels the streets of Freehold and nearby vicinities in the “CartMobile” ridding the area of high priced cartridges.  Sometimes, he’s accompanied by his sidekick, “InkBoy”.  Sometimes, it’s his faithful dog “Laser”.  In a very rare moment, you might catch a glimpse of CartWoman, but she is mostly swimming at the CentraState Fitness and Wellness Center so she could keep herself looking “toner”.

“You just refill the inks, right?”
Yes, but we are so much MORE.  You don’t have to wait for us to refill anything.  We have stock already done.  You can come in and just buy them, or you could bring in your empties and trade for the same price.  If you DO bring in an empty ink cartridge when you purchase the replacement, you will be in our recycling program which gives you a punch for each one.  After nine punches, the tenth ink cartridge is on us!

“Where do I go for toner (aka: laser) cartridges?”
Right HERE!  Don’t just think of us as that small store that just does inks.  We have many large business accounts that rely on us for all their cartridges for their printers – monochrome or color, ink or laser – as well as their copiers, faxes, and yes, even postage meters!  And we deliver to them each and every day.

“Will it work?”
Are you kidding?  We’ve been here for six years.  If it didn’t work, we would be gone.  We are successful because of our excellent service and products.  If, for any reason, the cartridge does not work, we would exchange it or refund your money – at YOUR option. This is what we mean when we say “100% guaranteed”.  If an authorized manufacturer repair center for your equipment states that any failure in the equipment was DUE to one of our cartridges failing, then WE would pay for the repair or replacement of that piece of equipment.  Doing business with us is risk-free.

“Won’t your cartridges void my warranty?”
No.  This couldn’t be further from the truth.  Magnuson Moss Warranty Act allows you to use cartridges from wherever YOU choose.  Your warranty will not be voided just because you use our cartridges. 

“How much will I save?”
It really depends on the cartridge.  Typically, on average, we will be about 30% LESS than buying a new cartridge at those big box stores.  An example is a new $40 tri-color ink cartridge would only cost you $24.95 at our store.  A new $77 laser cartridge would only cost you $49.95 at our store.  And we’re not comparing our prices to Manufacturers Suggested Retail Price (MSRP), we’re comparing to “street” price, or what you would really pay at another popular retail store.

“Why can I get it for less online or elsewhere with free shipping?”
We can always find something for less online.  But the value is in the product being sold.  Our products are the original manufacturer’s cartridges that have simply been refilled or rebuilt.  What you get elsewhere for cheaper is a “knock-off” that may be manufactured in a foreign country that doesn’t care whether there is a US Patent on that product or not.  And where do you go if you have a problem?  Do you really want to ship it back and wait and hope for a replacement or a credit?  Or would you rather have a local store to walk into with friendly people that want to help you?  Did you know that I live AND work in Freehold?  And that 67% of MY income stays right here in Freehold and the surrounding communities?  OK, I’ll get off the soapbox, but just to say “Thanks” for supporting a local small business doing it’s share to support the communities for which it serves and keeping the local economy here and strong.

“Why can’t you ship the cartridges to me?”
Well, we CAN.  Just sometimes, it doesn’t make sense to because of the shipping cost involved.  We want to save you money.  If you have to pay for shipping, you might lose out on what you saved on the cartridge.  But, nevertheless, we’ll ship any cartridge anywhere for a $9 flat fee shipping charge.  Spend over $100 and that order will ship for FREE. Any items going out of state are not charged sales tax, either.

“Your cartridges are USED!”
Yes, but we’d rather like to say “recycled”.  Hey, do you get a new car every time it runs out of gas?  I didn’t think so.  These cartridges aren’t broken, they’re just EMPTY.  We’re just refilling the inks, and totally rebuilding the lasers.  Did you know that the plastic that make up these cartridges is made from oil?  It takes almost 4 quarts of oil just to make one laser printer cartridge.  So the next time you think about just throwing them away, see how much oil prices are and how you might lower our overall dependence on fossil fuels.

“I didn’t have the empties to bring in”
We don’t NEED no stinkin’ empties.  The cartridges we sell have already been refilled, are on the rack here, ready to go, and priced the same whether you bring in an empty or not!  If you DO bring in an empty ink cartridge when you purchase the replacement, you will be in our recycling program which gives you a punch for each one.  After nine punches, the tenth ink cartridge is on us!

“I don’t have time to get to your store”
